Job Summary
Build and ship features end-to-end for iOS and Android SDKs used by major sports and media brands, leveraging AI to design, scaffold, and refactor solutions. Debug tricky integration issues across native platforms and supporting services using logs and diagnostics rather than guesswork. Work with Product to understand customer constraints, propose pragmatic solutions, and streamline the integration experience so partners reach "first story live" quickly. Enhance documentation, code examples, and developer ergonomics while maintaining high ownership from idea to release.
Required Qualifications
- 2–4 years of hands-on experience building production mobile apps or SDKs in Swift for iOS or Kotlin for Android
- Strong knowledge of at least one native mobile platform – iOS with Swift or Android with Kotlin – including its modern frameworks and build tooling
- Familiarity with APIs/HTTP, mobile app lifecycles, performance and automated testing
- A proactive mindset – you look ahead, anticipate problems, and propose solutions instead of waiting to be told what to do
- AI-native working style – you're comfortable adopting new tools early, especially AI-assisted coding, and you see AI as the default starting point rather than a last resort
- Clear reasoning and trade-off thinking – you can explain why you chose one approach over another in simple language
- Strong written and verbal communication for remote collaboration
- Reliability – you deliver on commitments, surface blockers early, and take responsibility for the quality of your work
- comfortable building libraries and APIs other developers depend on
Desired Qualifications
- Experience building mobile SDKs, reusable libraries or developer tools
- Experience across iOS and Android, or with cross-platform SDKs such as React Native; familiarity with SDK distribution, CI/CD or versioning
- Open-source contributions, side projects or technical write-ups that show how you think
- Interest in sports, media or content tech
