Job Summary
Software Engineer to analyze functional and technical requirements, translate them into application design, and develop Java-based components and modules (including Java-related technologies) for enterprise systems. Responsibilities include participating in system integration discussions, collaborating with analysts, developers, testers, and stakeholders, supporting system testing and UAT, ensuring code quality and security guidelines, and maintaining documentation for delivery and governance. The role involves designing, developing, testing, enhancing, and maintaining application components, addressing defects in production, investigating errors, and contributing to ongoing improvements through workshops and knowledge sharing. Strong focus on delivering reliable, secure software within enterprise/government environments, with an emphasis on teamwork, initiative, and a delivery-focused mindset.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of experience in developing and delivering application software
- Proficient in written and spoken English
- Experience working in enterprise or government systems environments is an advantage
