Job Summary
Develop software for active safety systems including brake modulators and brake boosters, collaborating with a development team and application/calibration engineers to create project-specific solutions with strong customer input. Perform requirements engineering with customers and internal teams, design and implement solutions based on requirements, and test to verify and validate component and system-level requirements. Follow established industry guidelines and processes (ISO26262, ASPICE). Support in-vehicle and offline (laboratory) software testing, participate in customer and internal meetings, and contribute to vehicle-system software development in the automotive domain. Telecommuting: 1 day per week/work from home.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering
- 3 years of experience as a Software Engineer, System Engineer or related automotive/engineering role
- Experience with Electronic stability control (ABS/TCS/ESC), brake system/booster, complex software and system architecture
- Experience with Java, C, Matlab
- Experience with AUTOSAR development
- Experience with Requirements engineering, laboratory environment, vehicle and system test and release procedures
- Experience with Vehicle networking, diagnostics and debugging complex systems
- Telecommuting: 1 day per week/work from home (as part of role)
