Job Summary
Build scalable web applications on Salesforce Desktop and Mobile platforms using Object Oriented design patterns and frameworks. Plan, design, and implement new features while collaborating with architects, designers, and product owners to deliver high-performing software on Force.com. Develop unit and functional automated tests in Java or Apex to maintain 100% test coverage, championing SDLC best practices and Agile methodologies. Diagnose quality issues, manage test strategies, and ensure product reliability before release. Work with quality engineers and business analysts to meet customer expectations, requiring strong documentation skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's/Master's Degree in computer science or engineering
- 3+ years with Master's or 5+ years programming in Java, C, or .net
- 2+ years developing on the force.com platform
- 2+ Experience with Web Development using server side, HTML, CSS and Javascript
- Proficient in object oriented design and using design patterns
- Expertise with Web Services using SOAP, REST
- Strong database concepts and data modeling capabilities
- Expertise in query languages using SOQL or SQL
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment while delivering on multiple projects against aggressive deadlines
- Ability to be a team player, motivate people, instill accountability and achieve results
- Strong fundamentals and mastery in QE Processes
- Ability to effectively communicate status and risk to the team and manager
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Salesforce products like Sales Cloud and Service Cloud
- Knowledge/experience in Force.com platform (APEX, VisualForce)
- Admin and/or developer certification on Force.com platform
- Familiarity with Junit, Jenkins, Selenium or similar tools
- Experience using Source Control Management systems
- Experience with Javascript based SPA application development with tools like: Salesforce Lightning, Angular, React, Vue
- Experience working as part of a Scrum team practicing Agile development methodologies
- Experience with Test-driven Development (TDD)
- Experience with Continuous Integration (CI) process
- Good understanding of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model and concepts
- Ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment
- Ability to take ownership of projects and multi-task in a fast pace environment
