Software Engineer Mobile Test SaaS Projects

Job Summary
Conduct native mobile application testing across multiple platforms while interacting with SaaS products in an agile environment. Develop automated acceptance test suites and expand the testing framework using tools like Appium, Espresso, or Robotium. Perform creative exploratory testing of new features and provide critical feedback to software engineers and product managers to improve capabilities. Collaborate directly with developers and product managers within a Scrum team to ensure high-quality customer service experiences. Bring three years of experience in mobile or web testing with strong automation skills in Ruby, Java, Python, or Groovy.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ year experience in a similar role such as Software Developer in Test, Test Engineer, or QA Automation Engineer
- Experience testing mobile/web applications on a variety of platforms
- Strong experience writing and executing automated tests for Web apps or Mobile apps using tools such as WebDriver, Appium, Robotium, iOS Automation, Espresso or similar tools
- Hands-on experience with Ruby, Java, Python, or Groovy
- Keen eye for UI design and detail and a strong understanding of user-experience flows
- Experience with Agile / Scrum methodologies
- Ability to learn things quickly with little guidance and oversight
- Ability to work as part of a self-directed team
- Flexibility to roll with the punches in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills
