Job Summary
Develop well-architected, responsive web applications and highly reliable software systems for Starlink using expert-level TypeScript React and .NET micro-service architectures. Design fault-tolerant networks operating at scale with minimal maintenance while implementing continuous monitoring and alerting to foster data-driven business decisions. Deliver full-stack solutions across mobile and web interfaces that enable users to set up Starlink, monitor outages, and manage services, alongside tooling for support associates and an LLM-powered chatbot. Collaborate directly with internal partners and cross-engineering teams to advance architecture, design, and code reviews without project managers. Deep dive into user problems to create efficient solutions and bring your voice to the table in team collaborations. Must be willing to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a STEM discipline and 1+ years of experience building full-stack software
- 3+ years of professional experience building full-stack software in lieu of a degree
- Must be willing to work extended hours and weekends as needed
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national
- Must be a U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder)
- Must be a Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157
- Must be an Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158
- Must be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State
Desired Qualifications
- Programming experience in Python, C#, .NET, Go, Scala, Java, or similar object-oriented language
- Production experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Front-end experience in Angular, React, or similar JavaScript framework
- Database experience with PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or similar database technologies
- Experience with version control, continuous integration, and continuous delivery concepts
- Expertise in profiling and improving application performance
- Experience with build systems (Make, Bazel/Pants/Buck, Gradle) and package management tools (pip, npm)
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience with UNIX-like operating systems and CI/CD tool
- A drive to deliver exceptional user experiences for customers and willingness to own all outcomes
