Job Summary
Build new features across microservices architecture while developing clean, maintainable, and scalable code. Participate in code reviews, write automated tests, and improve applications through continuous integration and delivery practices. Troubleshoot bugs and analyze production issues to enhance system reliability, collaborating closely with Product, QA, and fellow engineers to deliver high-quality solutions. Share knowledge with teammates and leverage AI tools to improve productivity and problem-solving. Requires a BS or MS in Computer Science, 3+ years of Java development experience, and strong understanding of Spring, JPA, Hibernate, and RESTful APIs.
Required Qualifications
- BS or MS degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- 3+ years of professional Java development experience
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and software design principles
- Hands-on experience with server-side technologies such as Spring, JPA, and Hibernate
- Experience with SQL and relational databases, preferably MySQL or PostgreSQL
- Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs
- Familiarity with Git and modern version control workflows
- Understanding of Agile software development methodologies
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with SaaS applications and product development
- Familiarity with AWS services (EC2, RDS) and Heroku
- Experience working with microservices architecture
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with Redis or similar caching technologies
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB
