Job Summary
Software Engineer - MLOps Technology focused on developing high-quality technology applications and services. Responsibilities include driving the software development lifecycle, transforming requirements into features, writing code and design specifications, supporting system design and security needs, debugging and troubleshooting business systems, and performing testing and maintenance. Applies deep knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and programming languages to deliver tools, standards, and platforms aligned with business requirements. Works across functional teams to interpret client needs into technical specifications, analyzes, tests, and implements new software programs, and ensures compliance with security, logging, error handling, and performance standards. Participates in release management and applies our Risk Management Framework. Requires 3-5 years of experience and a post-secondary degree in a related field; Python proficiency is required with nice-to-have experience in stats models, scipy, numpy, AWS SageMaker, GitHub, and a testing mindset. Location includes Toronto, ON (Canada) and remote options in Canada; salary range provided.
Required Qualifications
- Post-secondary degree in related field or equivalent experience
- Typically 3-5 years of relevant experience
- Experience in Python
- Nice to have experience in stats models, scipy, numpy, AWS, AWS sage maker environment, GitHub, testing mindset
- Technical proficiency in programming, cloud computing, and system design
