Job Summary
Design, develop, and maintain enterprise API integrations using Java, Python, and front-end frameworks like React, Vue, and Bootstrap. Provide guidance on integration patterns for REST/HTTP, database integrations, and systems such as ServiceNow and SAP. Build and maintain scalable web applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment using JIRA and Confluence. Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices within a secure environment. This role supports Digital Solutions, Enterprise Collaboration, AI, and Web Services, focusing on technology modernization and process streamlining for intranet tools and applications that empower staff.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years of enterprise application development
- Hands-on experience developing integrations with Boomi platform or similar (ETL, API gateway, process automation)
- Proficiency in Java, Python (3.x), JavaScript/TypeScript
- Experience with API and web frameworks such as Spring, React, Vue, Falcon, Bootstrap
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and SQL databases (Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills across a diverse technology stack
- Excellent communication abilities and teamwork mindset
- 5 years of experience required
- Must live within 100 miles of Lexington
Desired Qualifications
- Experience developing WebSphere Portal applications (JSR286, portlets, themes, PUMA API)
- Experience with data ETL, or MS Graph API
- Familiarity with Generative AI concepts, including applying MCP (Model Context Protocol) and agentic AI patterns to improve automation, data workflows, and system interoperability
- Experience with CI/CD automation through Github Actions
- Familiarity with search engineering (Apache Solr is a plus)
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Podman, Docker, OpenShift Kubernetes)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
