Software Engineer

Engineer to own problems end-to-end in MinIO’s high-performance object storage stack (AIStor) — from OS internals, networking, memory and concurrency to storage engines and low-latency I/O. You’ll work with a team of ICs, architects, and leads with full ownership from day one, delivering scalable solutions without ticket queues or standups. We value fluency in multiple languages, thoughtful tradeoffs, curiosity, grit, and a drive to write code that earns respect from peers. The role emphasizes operating systems, networking, distributed systems, protocol design, and craftsmanship, with an emphasis on building the data stack for AI and analytics in a distributed storage environment. There are no managers in the engineering culture, and decisions are made by those doing the work. Suitable candidates are comfortable with remote-work arrangements and contributing samples of their work as part of submissions.
