Job Summary
Develop and maintain complex software systems including processing-intensive analytics, real-time systems, and business management information systems based on documented requirements. Review and test software components for design adherence, providing input on hardware/software trade-offs and requirements synthesis. Utilize appropriate development methodologies and provide Help Desk support for ticket handling and resolution via JIRA. Requires a Bachelor's degree with 12+ years experience or equivalent, plus active Top Secret/SCI clearance. Must possess strong scripting skills in Java on Linux and proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and Git. Full-time role in Annapolis Junction, MD.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of relevant experience OR associate's degree with 15 years of relevant experience OR high school diploma with 20 years of experience
- Experience scripting with Java using Linux
- Strong background with Docker using Maven
- Proficiency with Git/Gitlab
- knowledge and experience with CI/CD and GitOps Principles
- Experience with Helm, Kubectl, and Kubernetes
- Current active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph
- The candidate must be able to move, carry and deliver workstations from inside the office to customer's desk
- The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
- Must communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Flux and Kustomize
- Experience with kafka, kyverno and/or minio
- Willingness to learn integration and perform upgrade support of open-source software deployments
- Willingness to learn and do updates for current Golang software
