Job Summary
Build optimisers, code generators, runtime libraries, and the orchestration layer that runs computation across heterogeneous hardware using C++, Rust, Python, MLIR, and CUDA. Manage the entire compute stack from high-level pipeline orchestration to dissecting compute graphs and squeezing performance out of hot paths. Work with stakeholders across the business to translate requirements into technical solutions while navigating unfamiliar stack components. This role supports the Machine Learning Frameworks team's mission to accelerate research iteration and production execution at the limits of hardware speed.
Required Qualifications
- You can move between languages without it slowing you down
- You like understanding what a language compiles down to and how it runs on hardware
- You're comfortable being handed an unfamiliar part of the stack and working it out
- You like working with stakeholders across the business and you're good at figuring out what someone actually needs, not just what they asked for
