Software Engineer - Machine Identity Platform

Job Summary
Develop and maintain backend services for the Machine Identity Security cloud platform using Java and Golang; design features that enhance the Machine Identity Cloud platform; build integrations with third-party systems such as Certificate Authorities, Cloud Providers, and Credential Stores; collaborate with cross-team stakeholders to troubleshoot issues and improve development processes; participate in on-call rotation to ensure system reliability. The role is hybrid and based in the office in Sofia, Bulgaria, with the expectation of working from the office for real-time problem solving and collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional experience in software development
- Backend experience with Java and Golang
- PostgreSQL in backend stack
- Knowledge of x509 and PKI is desirable
- Strong teamwork, attention to detail, and communication skills
- Ability and desire to quickly learn new technologies and gain domain expertise
- Very good knowledge of English (spoken and written)
