Job Summary
Design and build scalable backend infrastructure and LLM pipelines for the "Noa" AI recruitment platform, owning the entire development lifecycle from sourcing to candidate matching. Contribute to system architecture, conduct code reviews, and support applications during business hours to ensure system health and reliability. Use metrics and analytics to make data-informed decisions that directly solve pain points for jobseekers, employers, and recruiters. Collaborate with product, data science, and design teams to deliver solutions, while mentoring other engineers and driving rapid innovation within a lean, agile environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience
- Advanced degree without experience
- Proficiency in one or more modern backend programming languages (e.g., Java, Kotlin, or similar)
- Experience building and operating large-scale, high-performance, and resilient systems
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in English
- Ability to work effectively across teams
- Curiosity and a willingness to learn, adapt, and take on new challenges
- Native-level proficiency in Japanese
- No active formal PIP or written warning
- Current role tenure of at least 6 months
Desired Qualifications
- Experience developing applications integrated with machine learning models
- Experience operating LLM-integrated applications in production at scale, including continuous evaluation and improvement
