Job Summary
Software Engineer on the C2BMC program based in Huntsville, AL, focusing on Java software development for the Track Server team within the Regional Applications groups. Responsible for in-depth analysis and technical support across software products, debugging, design, testing, automation tool development, and integration with other system support groups. Requires a current DoD Secret clearance, on-site work with no remote options, and a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field with several years of experience. The role involves working with Maven, Git/GitHub, Nexus, Eclipse, Agile methodologies, and enterprise software development in a DoD environment to enable missile defense operations and support senior program and military leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field
- 5 years of experience OR Master’s degree with 3 years
- current DoD-issued Secret security clearance at start
- Java/J2EE experience or equivalent OO development experience
- Experience with Maven, Git/GitHub, Nexus, and Eclipse
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies
- Strong oral and written communication skills
