Job Summary
Design, develop, document, test, and debug applications software and systems containing logical and mathematical solutions. Conduct multidisciplinary research and collaborate with equipment designers and hardware engineers on electronic data processing systems. Determine computer user needs, analyze system capabilities, and prepare operating instructions while ensuring software standards are met. Designs and develops compilers, assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems. Requires active Top Secret/SCI clearance and experience with software architecture, Agile leadership, and Perl/Python. Based in Aurora, Colorado at Buckley AFB, this role supports revolutionary systems impacting global lives.
Required Qualifications
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance at time of application
- Bachelor's degree
- 2 years of relevant experience (for Level 2)
- 5 years of relevant experience (for Level 3)
- 3 years of relevant experience with a Master's (for Level 3)
- 0 years of relevant experience with a PhD (for Level 3)
- Experience with software architecture, design, and development
- Experience with Agile leadership (product owner and scrum master), planning, and scheduling
- Experience with Technical customer engagement and interaction
- Experience using Jira and Confluence
- 10% of the Time travel
- U.S. Citizenship
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree (in lieu of 2 years experience for Level 2)
- PhD (in lieu of degree for Level 3)
- Additional 4 years of relevant experience (in lieu of degree for Level 2 or 3)
- Experience with Perl and Python
- Adjudicated Counterintelligence Polygraph (CI-Poly)
- Ability to juggle many activities simultaneously
