Job Summary
Develop and sustain several mission operational software product lines while developing new capabilities for Northrop Grumman's Space Systems Sector. Collaborate within a large team comprising multiple subsystems, each with a specialized software focus, to provide innovative solutions supporting the national security mission. Maintain an active SCI clearance and travel 25% of the time, including a required 4-week training period in Redondo Beach, CA.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 2 years of relevant experience OR a Master's degree; an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree
- Must have an active SCI at time of application OR an active TS clearance at time of application with the ability to obtain SCI within a reasonable period of time as determined by the company prior to start date
- Advanced Object-Oriented programming skills
- Experience with C++ programming
- Knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux operating system
- Must be able to travel to Redondo Beach, CA for approximately 4 consecutive weeks for required training
Desired Qualifications
- DevSecOps
- Test Automation experience
- Experience with programming/scripting languages: C, C++, Java, Python, Perl
- Strong in math and algorithms
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface with all levels of employees, management, and stakeholders
- Previous participation on an Agile scrum team or familiarity with the Agile process
- Familiarity with the Atlassian Tool Suite (Confluence, Jira, Bitbucket, Bamboo)
- Experience developing in a Linux environment using git
- Demonstrated problem solving and decision making skills
- Active TS/SCI security clearance
