Job Summary
Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance standards, then debug existing code and correct defects. Design and code new software or modify current systems to integrate into new environments, developing complex database queries and implementing algorithms that meet strict timing and resource constraints. Serve as team lead to oversee development teams, coordinate system installations, and ensure work adheres to process standards. Confer with engineers to obtain project limitations and capabilities, while writing or reviewing documentation and assisting with test procedures. Requires 14 years of software engineering experience and a Top Secret SCI clearance.
Required Qualifications
- Active Top Secret SCI with polygraph
- Fourteen (14) years experience as a Software Engineer (SWE), in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university
- four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes (substituted for a bachelor's degree)
