Job Summary
Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services using .NET / C#, while constructing responsive, accessible user interfaces with React. Write clean, well-tested, maintainable code across both layers, participate in code reviews, and collaborate with product and design to translate requirements into working software. Debug and resolve issues from database queries to UI rendering, contribute to technical design discussions, and write automated unit and integration tests to support frequent releases. This mid-level Full Stack Developer role requires 2–4 years of experience and is based in Sydney with flexible hybrid arrangements.
Required Qualifications
- 2–4 years of professional software development experience
- Solid experience building backend services with .NET / C# (ASP.NET Core preferred)
- Solid experience building frontend applications with React (hooks, component architecture, state management)
- Working knowledge of relational databases and writing efficient SQL queries
- Comfortable consuming and designing RESTful APIs
- Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows (PRs, code review)
- Understanding of software testing practices (unit testing, integration testing)
- Strong communication skills and comfort working in a collaborative, cross-functional team
- A pragmatic, ownership-driven approach to solving problems
