Software Engineer Lead-Security Clearance Eligibility Required

Software Engineer Leads are responsible for the architecture of one or more CSCIs within a software solution and for overseeing the work of the Software Engineers who develop or modify the CSCI. This includes providing technical decision-making and leadership of a team as well as responsibility for a schedule and budget associated with the team’s work. Lead duties include designing, implementing, and modifying CSCIs, overseeing 2-10 engineers, task assignment, progress monitoring, design and code reviews, adherence to standards, providing status and estimates, training and integrating team members, advising on corrective actions, supporting proposals, and ensuring testing and documentation. Software Engineer duties cover targeted modifications and development of software components, defining work in requirements, unit testing, leveraging reuse and FOSS, maintaining schedules, applying AVT configuration management, meeting cost/schedule targets, conducting testing, and participating in overall design and development. Travel domestically and internationally may be required. Office location is Orlando, FL; travel internationally. Requires a Bachelor’s degree, 10+ years of experience, Linux/Windows environment proficiency, expert knowledge of programming languages and software architectures, Agile/Scrum proficiency, and CM/tools experience.
