Job Summary
Lead the technical design and development of software solutions, proposing architectures that address complex business needs using Java, Spring, Kafka, and microservices. Facilitate complex problem resolution while reviewing coding, testing, and documentation to ensure adherence to enterprise risk management frameworks. Provide technical guidance to colleagues and prepare procedural documentation for all initiatives. Requires 3+ years of experience with Java, Spring, and Kubernetes, based in Pittsburgh, PA or Dallas, TX.
Required Qualifications
- Strong hands-on design and development experience with Java and Spring
- banking/payments background
- Solid understanding of software architecture and microservices
- Experience with OpenShift or Kubernetes
- Experience designing and developing solutions using Kafka, MQ and REST APIs
- Proficiency in database design and optimization, including Mongo DB and Oracle DB
- Experience in DevOps CI/CD and Jenkins build/deploys
- Experience using Eclipse, IntelliJ, Gradle, Maven
- 3+ years of relevant / direct industry experience
- Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree
Desired Qualifications
- JavaScript and Angular experience
- Experience working with Elastic-Search and Redis
- Strong knowledge of performance tuning, application security, and scalability best practices
- Experience with Agile software development methodology
