Software Engineer Lead - Data and Automation (Python, PySpark, Hadoop, GitHub Copilot)

Lead the technical design and development of software solutions addressing complex business needs. Provide technical leadership on the team by evaluating designs and code, mentoring junior and mid-level engineers, and ensuring solutions align with enterprise standards, security, and risk management. Collaborate with product owners, architects, and engineers to translate requirements into scalable, maintainable solutions; contribute to and review technical documentation and design artifacts; promote modern engineering practices such as Agile delivery, CI/CD, and automated testing. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing, coding, and unit testing features, conducting code reviews, participating in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint planning), partnering with product/data/business teams to clarify requirements, troubleshooting production issues, and driving continuous improvement across the team.
