Job Summary
Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable software applications using Python and modern languages while leading architecture decisions for complex systems. Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, and deployment, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and ship new features. Perform code reviews, debug defects, and determine root causes for issues to drive long-term solutions. Mentor junior engineers and influence technical decisions to continuously improve development processes and reliability. Support the transition to cloud capability. Requires TS/SCI with polygraph, BS plus 14–20 years experience, and proficiency in Python.
Required Qualifications
- An active TS/SCI with polygraph
- Last Poly within past 7 years
- BS + 14 years experience
- BS + 20 years experience
- Solid experience with Python
- Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages, such as [e.g., Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, etc.]
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies
- Solid understanding of object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms
