Software Engineer (Java)

Job Summary
Develop full-stack software solutions using Java, Spring Framework, Angular, and related technologies while translating functional requirements into clean, efficient code. Configure development environments, design from technical documentation, and ensure coding aligns with security compliance standards and best practices. Conduct security hardening, vulnerability assessments, and peer reviews to maintain quality. Develop unit test packages, execute tests, and support integration, system, and user acceptance testing. Perform software deployment, configuration, and maintenance activities, resolving system issues and managing changes to hardware, software, and documentation. Collaborate with stakeholders on requirements gathering and project delivery. Due to security clearance requirements for government-linked projects, this position is open to Singapore Citizens only.

- 1–4 years of experience in developing and delivering application software
- Full-stack software development experience
- Strong proficiency in Java
- Strong proficiency in C++
- Strong proficiency in Spring Framework
- Strong proficiency in Spring Boot
- Strong proficiency in Spring Cloud
- Strong proficiency in Spring Security
- Proficiency in Angular
- Proficiency in TypeScript
- Proficiency in SQL
- Experience with Git
- Experience with GitHub
- Experience with GitLab
- Experience with Maven
- Experience with NPM
- Experience with IDEs
- Experience with Eclipse
- Experience with Visual Studio Code
- Familiarity with microservices architecture
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs
- Familiarity with SSL/TLS
- Familiarity with FTP
- Familiarity with Apache Kafka
- Experience with Oracle Database
- Diploma or Degree in Computer Science
- Diploma or Degree in Computer Engineering
- Diploma or Degree in Information Technology
- Equivalent to the above degrees
- Singapore Citizens only
- Willingness to travel as needed
