Job Summary
Design and implement clean, robust Java solutions for complex business problems while evaluating designs and optimizing performance. Collaborate with stakeholders and engineering teams to define technical solutions, scope stories, and translate business needs into functional requirements. Drive code reviews, maintain high standards for testing and automation, and support CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure using Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS services. Ensure scalable, maintainable code across microservices and database architectures while promoting a DevOps mindset.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in delivering quality software
- Overall Engineer Level III (5 to 7 years' experience)
- Excellent proficiency in an Object-Oriented language, such as Java
- Proficient with Java, Java Spring Boot Framework
- Experience with messaging technologies and patterns (Kafka/SQS)
- Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and Git
- Experience with AWS services (e.g., RDS, ECS, EKS, DynamoDB)
- Proficient with Containerization(K8s/Docker)
- Test automation experience at all levels (Unit, Integration, Regression, Load)
- Familiarity with modern infrastructure tools and pipelines (Gitlab CI/CD, Terraform)
- Experience with RESTful architecture and micro services
- Experience with system design, architecture, scaling, and performance testing
- Experience building services
- Experience with databases like postgres, SQL
- Experience with Cache based low latency system design
- Familiarity with CI/CD and testing tools
- Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals
- Familiarity with ops tools, logging, and metrics (New Relic, Splunk)
Desired Qualifications
