Software Engineer Java needed for a Spanish multinational tech leader. Responsibilities include designing, developing and implementing backend Java applications, building scalable microservice architectures, developing event-driven distributed systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ), applying software engineering best practices and maintaining high code quality, implementing automated testing (unit, integration, performance), and participating in automated packaging and deployment. The role operates in a hybrid setup (50% on-site) in Madrid (Calle Velázquez) with Agile/Scrum methodologies, and requires proficiency in English (C1) and experience with Java, microservices, databases (PostgreSQL/Oracle), Docker, Linux, and testing.
