Job Summary
Design and develop Java-based applications, implement and manage AWS cloud services, and build systems in Linux environments. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, optimize code for scalability and performance, and troubleshoot software issues. Ensure seamless deployment and operation of robust systems while leveraging containerization and RESTful API development. This role requires TS/SCI Full Poly clearance and U.S. citizenship. Required Qualifications
- TS/SCI Full Poly
- Full U.S. Citizenship
- Bachelor's Degree
- Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Systems Engineering, Network Engineering, Information Systems, Cloud Computing, Applied Mathematics
- 4-5 years experience in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree
- 4-5 years experience credit for a Bachelor's Degree
- 2 years experience credit for a Master's Degree
- Proficiency in Java programming
- Experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda)
- Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems
- Familiarity with containerization (e.g., Docker)
- Knowledge of RESTful API development
- Understanding of database systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of serverless architecture
- Familiarity with microservices architecture
- Understanding of cloud security best practices
- Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform)
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, ELK)
