Job Summary
Design and deliver advanced software solutions using Java and Spring Boot, focusing on scalable, enterprise-grade systems and microservices-based architectures. Contribute to system design decisions for distributed applications while supporting DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure on AWS. Build and maintain RESTful APIs, implement automated testing strategies across multiple layers, and leverage logging and monitoring tools to ensure system reliability. Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape technical direction.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of hands-on software development experience
- strong expertise in system design and enterprise application development
- Proficiency in Java
- Experience with Spring Boot and microservices architecture
- Strong understanding of RESTful architectures
- Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka or AWS SQS
- Hands-on experience with AWS
- Kubernetes
- AWS Lambda
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation (e.g., GitLab CI/CD, Terraform)
- Solid experience with test automation across multiple testing layers
- Familiarity with relational databases
- Experience using logging and monitoring tools such as New Relic or Splunk
Desired Qualifications
- Domain experience in Retail, Supply Chain, or Supply Chain Outbound Transportation
