Job Summary
Mid- or Senior-level Software Engineer / IT Business Analyst to design, implement, maintain and test innovative software solutions for the Avaloq Banking Suite. Lead projects from analysis requirements to implementation and testing with client-facing interactions. Develop features based on internal/external requirements and optimize ACP kernel performance, garbage collector configuration, ACP CSS Monitoring and OMD/Security topics. Collaborate with Product Owner, Scrum Master and other Software Engineers; provide technical assistance to customers or business analysts. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent and at least four years of software development experience; strong knowledge of RDBMS, Oracle SQL/PLSQL, and Scrum/Agile methodologies; effective communication in English; experience with cloud (AWS) and core banking platforms is a plus. Hybrid and flexible working is offered for many Avaloqers to maintain work-life balance, with an office in Bioggio, Canton Ticino, Switzerland.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
- At least four years of work experience in a software developer role
- Knowledge and experience in RDBMS, Oracle SQL, Oracle PL/SQL
- Good understanding of scrum agile methodologies
- Excellent analytical skills and systematic problem solving
- Open-minded, team player, good communication skills (proficient in English)
