Job Summary
Write clean, secure, tested, and documented code while designing and enhancing the Notion product with an AI-first mindset. Develop, fix, and debug software across the full stack, including web services, databases, and applications, leveraging modern frameworks. Collaborate cross-functionally to decompose tricky problems and deliver clean solutions, communicating nuanced technical decisions clearly. Apply an AI-first approach to build features using LLMs, embeddings, or ML, adapting to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. This internship runs from January 25 to April 16 with on-site work required in either New York or San Francisco.
Required Qualifications
- Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or another related field
- Must graduate before December 2027
- Previous internship experience
- Working towards a proficiency of one or more programming languages such as Typescript, Node.js, or Python
- You find large challenges exciting and enjoy discovering problems as much as solving them
- You are able to problem-solve and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- You have built or prototyped features with AI technologies (LLMs, Embeddings, ML) and are interested in learning more
- You don't need deep AI expertise for every role, but we do expect every Notino to be intellectually curious, drawn to tinkering and discovery, and excited to use AI as a real collaborator in their work
- This internship will take place from January 25 - April 16
- You will need to be able to work out of our NY or SF office during this time
