Job Summary
Build enterprise-grade, secure software services at cloud scale by developing security tooling and automation in Python or Java. Identify and remediate vulnerabilities within Snowflake's distributed platform while applying ML/AI techniques for threat detection. Collaborate with product teams to deliver customer-facing security features across Application, Cloud, and Infrastructure Security domains. Engage in compliance automation and IAM control implementation using AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud infrastructure. This 4-month internship offers hands-on experience in threat response and governance, with access to mentors and a fast-paced security engineering environment.
Required Qualifications
- Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college/university program during the internship period
- Desired majors: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
- Required coursework: algorithms, data structures, and operating systems
- Duration: 4 months + recommended
- Strong programming skills in Python or Java
- Solid knowledge of data structures and algorithms
- Strong problem-solving ability and capacity to learn quickly in a dynamic environment
- Experience working as part of a team
- Dedication, curiosity, and a passion for security and technology
- Working proficiency in English
Desired Qualifications
- familiarity with ML/AI concepts is a plus
- Recommended coursework: information security, cryptography, cloud computing, database systems, or distributed systems
