Job Summary
The Software Engineer Intern will develop, test, implement, and maintain software applications using Ruby on Rails and related technologies for the ArchWeb platform. Responsibilities include enhancing existing functionalities and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Candidates should demonstrate knowledge of Ruby, JavaScript, SQL, and web technologies along with problem-solving skills and teamwork capabilities. This is a summer internship aimed at students currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree in a computer related field
- Exposed to the concepts of an Agile based development methodology or similar formal methodologies are required
- Knowledge through coursework or personal projects of Ruby, Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, SQL, HTML5, CSS3.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with a modern JavaScript framework (e.g., React, Vue.js, or Angular) preferred.
