Software Engineer Intern (AI)

Job Summary
Research and develop AI managed services, RAG, and Agentic AI by building PoCs to showcase new ideas. Develop and refine tools that align with specific business unit use cases, while exploring fine-tuning techniques to customize models for domain tasks. Collaborate closely with a supervisor to gain insights into AI's role in real-world applications and support the industrialization of prototypes. Requires a full-time commitment of ideally six months (minimum five) for a Computer Science student proficient in Python and Docker Compose. Gain hands-on experience in GenAI research and practical applications within Thales Singapore's Engineering Competence Centre.
Required Qualifications
- Computer Science student
- good foundation in Data Science
- Proficiency in Python
- Proficiency in Docker Compose
- basic Linux commands
- Familiarity with open-source frameworks and tools, including GitHub
- Independent and analytical thinker
- Open-minded, with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Able to commit on a full-time basis, for ideally 6 months (or a minimum of 5 months)
