Job Summary
Software Engineer - Intermediate role focused on developing scalable applications across backend and UI layers. Responsibilities include general application development activities, unit testing, deploying code to development environments, and documenting processes. You’ll work on multiple projects, diagnose performance issues, participate in estimation, requirements, test planning, and code reviews, and ensure operational security and scalability. You’ll develop and operate high-scale applications from backend to UI, apply modern practices such as serverless computing, microservices, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code, collaborate across teams to integrate systems, contribute to technology roadmaps and architecture discussions, participate in agile sprints, triage issues, and lead sprint deliverables. The role requires hands-on coding in Java, Python, and JavaScript, with 2+ years of experience in related technologies, and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 2+ years experience working with software design and Java, Python and Javascript programming languages
- 2+ years experience with software build management tools like Maven or Gradle
- 2+ years experience with HTML, CSS and frontend/web development
- 2+ years experience with software testing, performance, and quality engineering techniques and strategies
- 2+ years experience with Cloud technology: GCP, AWS, or Azure
