Job Summary
Design, develop, test, troubleshoot, and sustain a mission-focused enterprise web application deployed in a containerized Kubernetes Linux environment. Build and maintain Python services in Linux, design REST interfaces to support mission workflows, and automate tasks with Bash scripts. Leverage Docker and Kubernetes to deploy and sustain containerized services, create Helm charts for repeatable deployments, and support CI/CD pipelines. Collaborate with Product Owners, System Engineers, and other Software Engineers to deliver new capabilities and improve application reliability, maintainability, and deployment efficiency in a real-world, mission-driven program.
Required Qualifications
- Top Secret Clearance with Polygraph, active
- US Citizenship, cannot sponsor visas
- Master’s degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus 3 years of experience as a Software Engineer
- Or bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline, plus 5 years of experience
- Or 7 years of experience as a Software Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope
- Experience with Linux CLI and tool suite
- Experience with Bash and Python scripting
- Experience with Python in Linux
- Experience with Docker
- Experience with Kubernetes
- Experience creating Helm charts
- Experience with MySQL
- Experience designing and implementing REST interfaces
- Experience with CI/CD (GitLab CI)
- Experience with Git source control
