Job Summary
Maintain and improve solutions that combine simulated and hardware environments to test on-vehicle software behavior. Architect, design, and develop extensions for simulation software while enhancing accuracy to reflect actual vehicle dynamics. Adapt simulations to new vehicle designs and improve performance and reliability across the organization. Provide support and consulting to users who depend on the simulators for daily work. This role supports the final stages of FAA certification and the upcoming commercial launch of piloted air taxis in the US and Dubai.
Required Qualifications
- University degree in computer science or computer engineering
- 5+ year's industry experience
- Advanced degree and 3+ years' experience
- Significant experience and demonstrable expertise in C++
- Understanding of Continuous Integration, Continuous Development (CI/CD) and DevOps tools
- Familiarity with Linux OS and command-line tools
- Willingness to be flexible and learn new technologies
Desired Qualifications
- Understanding of aircraft and aviation (or development in a regulatory environment)
- Network experience (VLANs, UDP, Wireshark, etc)
- Experience working with the Linux scheduler
- Experience developing software using Python
