Job Summary
As an Infrastructure Engineer at AcuityMD, you’ll implement container orchestration, service mesh, ingress, and secrets management at scale. Responsibilities include collaborating across teams to enhance platform services, improving observability and automated remediation for increased reliability, and optimizing cloud resource utilization. You will leverage infrastructure-as-code for security and repeatability, engage in an on-call rotation for incident responses, and evolve CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate has 4+ years of relevant experience, a collaborative mindset, and knowledge of modern cloud infrastructure and programming.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on infrastructure, DevOps, and/or platform engineering
- Experience working with cloud infrastructure, specifically Kubernetes
- Understanding of observability: metrics, logs, traces, and building actionable alerts/SLOs
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools
- Some programming experience in at least one modern programming language
- Awareness of security fundamentals: IAM, workload identity, network policies, encryption, and secrets management
Desired Qualifications
- Open source contributions
- Experience with company transitioning from startup to high-growth
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform
- Experience with Terraform
- Experience with Python, Go, and/or JavaScript (TypeScript)
- Building and managing CI/CD systems and developer tooling
