Software Engineer in Test (SET / SDET)

Job Summary
Develop and maintain automated test frameworks using Java or Python across UI, API, and integration layers. Build UI automation suites with Selenium/WebDriver and create API tests using Postman or RestAssured. Partner with developers, QA, and DevOps teams to integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines via GitHub Actions or Jenkins. Participate in test planning, case design, and defect analysis to ensure quality coverage across functional, regression, integration, and performance testing. Contribute to improving automation strategy, tooling, and best practices while supporting cloud-based testing environments and basic cloud validation workflows.
Required Qualifications
- 5–8+ years of experience as an SDET or Automation Engineer
- Strong coding skills in Java or Python
- Proven experience with Selenium/WebDriver for UI automation
- Hands-on experience with API automation (Postman, RestAssured, or similar)
- Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines — GitHub, Jenkins, or similar tools
- Understanding of cloud concepts and cloud testing basics
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
