Software Engineer in Test

Job Summary
Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, integration, and performance testing. Build and enhance test automation frameworks to improve test coverage and efficiency. Work alongside developers and QA engineers to understand requirements, design test cases, and ensure testability of features. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure fast feedback and streamlined deployments. Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code for test automation & perform code reviews for test automation scripts. Identify, document, and track software defects, ensuring they are resolved in a timely manner. Analyze test results and ensure adequate test coverage for all system components. Contribute to performance and scalability testing to ensure the software meets required standards. Drive improvements in QA processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance team efficiency and product quality.
Required Qualifications
- Solid experience in test automation or software development with a focus on quality
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, C#)
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Appium, Playwright, or other
- Proficiency in testing APIs using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or similar
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools
- Experience with version control systems like Git
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and effective communication skills
