Job Summary
Build and implement robust automated test suites for functional, API, performance, and load testing within the iCapital platform. Integrate these suites into the current build and deployment processes while maintaining automation frameworks to accommodate system design changes. Manage defect workflows with automated test execution and publish metrics to support test creation. Enhance existing automation frameworks and collaborate with engineers and product managers on feature-based testing using Java, BDD, and TDD principles within Agile SDLC and CI/CD pipelines.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience with QA engineering delivery experience
- 4+ years of delivery within Agile SDLC/teams
- Programming experience in Java
- focus on behavior driven development (BDD)
- test-driven development (TDD)
- design patterns
- experience within continuous integration (CICD)
- Agile development approach
- Technologies: Java, JavaScript, IntelliJ/Eclipse
- CICD: Maven, Sonar, Git, Teamcity/Jenkins, Docker
- Testing: Junit, Playwright, Protractor, JMeter or similar
Desired Qualifications
- ideally with CICD
- AI Integration experience
- Exposure to banking and/or finance environments
- Experience with Java microservices
- exposure to React front end
- Perform all types of testing – Functional. API, Automation, Performance and Load
- Build and implementation of performance test suites
- Build and implementation of robust automated test suites
- Integration of automated test suites with the current build and deployment processes
- Maintenance of automated tests to accommodate changes in system design and architecture
- Integration of Automation framework with existing tools (JIRA)
- Create/Manage/Utilize Defect workflows with automated test execution
- Design and publish meaningful metric to support automation test creation and execution
