Job Summary
Design and deliver the technical integrations for an AI-powered platform serving government agencies; own end-to-end implementation from discovery and system analysis through deployment and production reliability. Responsibilities include reverse-engineering heterogeneous data sources, building robust integrations with third-party databases and APIs, designing scalable data pipelines, automating onboarding across customer environments, and deploying and monitoring applications in AWS. Collaborate with customer teams to translate real-world requirements into practical, scalable architectures, while maintaining reliability, performance, and security across deployments. The role blends engineering, infrastructure, data, and customer systems with ownership of the full delivery journey in a lean, hands-on environment. Proficiency in Java (and/or Python), SQL/PostgreSQL, AWS, Docker, Terraform, and CI/CD tooling (GitHub Actions) is highly valued, along with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of professional software development experience
- 2+ years working with relational databases (SQL / PostgreSQL) including performance and data modeling fundamentals
- Experience with cloud services (AWS preferred)
- Demonstrated ability with system architecture, API design, and complex integrations
- Comfortable traveling to client sites (~10% annually)
- Strong communication skills and customer-centric mindset
