Software Engineer III

Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain back-end services powering Spreetail’s fulfillment operations (inventory management, order processing, carrier integrations). Lead technical design within your pod, drive architecture decisions, and uphold code quality through thorough reviews. Collaborate with product managers and FC operations to translate requirements into sound software design. Mentor SE II engineers and contribute to the overall engineering quality of the team. The role emphasizes reliability of transactional systems, performance optimization, and resolving production issues quickly, with opportunities to work alongside ML pipelines (Python, Dagster, dbt) and AI tooling, in a backend-heavy, data-centric environment.
