Job Summary
Software Engineer III on JPMorganChase’s Securities Services Technology team delivers secure, scalable software solutions within an agile environment. Responsibilities include designing and delivering production-grade code, producing architecture and design artifacts for complex applications, gathering and transforming large data sets into visualizations and reports for continuous improvement, proactively identifying data patterns to drive improvements in coding hygiene and system architecture, and contributing to engineering communities of practice while fostering a diverse, inclusive team culture. The role requires hands-on coding in Java/J2EE, experience with SDLC and CI/CD, and the ability to operate in a large corporate environment with a focus on security and reliability. Preferred familiarity with modern front-end technologies and cloud technologies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
- 3+ years of software engineering experience
- Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
- Proficient in Java and J2EE
- Experience with large corporate environments and modern programming languages and database querying languages
- Knowledge of SDLC and agile methodologies (CI/CD, application resiliency, security)
- Knowledge of cloud, AI, ML related processes (preferred)
