Job Summary
Develop and execute test procedures for software components while ensuring quality control of developed and modified software. Generate technical documentation and deploy solutions on Amazon Web Services within an Agile environment using Jira and Confluence. Leverage expertise in Java, C++, or Python alongside relational databases like PostgreSQL to support development in programs and contracts of similar scope. This part-time role requires a candidate with extensive experience in backend development and test execution.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university
- Twenty (20) years experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity
- Experience supporting development and execution of test procedures for software components
- Experience generating technical documentation
- Experience working in an Agile development environment
- Experience with Amazon Web Services
- Experience using tools such as Jira and Confluence
- Experience ensuring quality control of developed and modified software
- Git
- Java, C++, or Python
- Relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL)
