Job Summary
Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within Corporate Technology designs and delivers trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, scalable way. You will execute software solutions from design to production, produce secure and high-quality production code, create architecture and design artifacts for complex applications, and analyze large data sets to visualize and improve software systems. You will identify hidden data patterns to drive improvements in coding hygiene and system architecture, contribute to engineering communities, and promote a culture of diversity, inclusion, and respect.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years experience Python Full-stack development
- Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
- Proficient in coding in one or more languages
- Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and container orchestration in production environments
- Exposure to cloud-native development and AWS services, particularly AWS EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service) for deploying and managing containerized applications
- Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and agentic coding workflows (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Amazon CodeWhisperer) and understanding of GenAI fundamentals for developer productivity
- Demonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)
