Job Summary
Software Engineer III within JPMorgan Chase's Corporate Investment Banking Payments team designs and delivers trusted, secure, scalable technology in an agile environment. You will execute software solutions, develop high-quality production code, create architecture and design artifacts for complex applications, and analyze large data sets to drive software improvements. The role emphasizes secure coding practices, operational stability, and collaboration within a diverse, inclusive team, with exposure to cloud technologies (AWS) and modern front-end tools.
Required Qualifications
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience
- Demonstrated and solid experience in C# and .Net technologies
- Experience with relational databases
- Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
- Proficient in coding in one or more languages
- Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages
- Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
- Demonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)
- Familiarity with modern front-end technologies
- Exposure to AWS cloud technologies
