Job Summary
Software Engineer III at MiTek designing, building, and debugging 3D CAD/engineering desktop software and related components using C#/.NET; collaborate with architects and cross-functional teams to evolve architecture, integrate third-party and web services, troubleshoot customer issues, and produce system design documentation. Requires a bachelor’s degree in CS or related field and 5+ years of professional software development experience with C#/.NET; strong debugging, OO design, and communication skills; familiarity with Agile, Azure DevOps, and desktop application development; knowledge of geometry/structural engineering concepts is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Professional experience with C# and .NET
- Experience developing and maintaining desktop applications
- Ability to navigate and troubleshoot large, complex codebase
- Strong debugging and root-cause problem-solving skills
- Solid understanding of data structures and object-oriented design principles
- Experience contributing to technical design discussions and communicating with teammates
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and influence outcomes
