Job Summary
Design and develop secure, high-quality production code using core Java, Spring, and REST services while conducting critical technology solutions across multiple business functions. Execute creative software solutions, perform technical troubleshooting, and review or debug code written by others to maintain operational stability. Lead evaluation sessions with external vendors and internal teams to probe architectural designs, drive communities of practice for emerging technologies, and leverage enterprise-authorized AI coding assist tools to improve delivery speed and code quality. Validate AI outputs through peer review and automated testing, apply knowledge of the SDLC toolchain including Jenkins and Maven, and join incident and triage calls with on-call support availability.
Required Qualifications
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts
- 3+ years applied experience
- Mandatory hands-on experience on core Java
- Mandatory hands-on experience on Spring
- Mandatory hands-on experience on REST services
- Mandatory hands-on Cloud Technology
- Strong experience with any NoSQL Database
- Strong technical development experience on effectively writing code
- Strong technical development experience on code reviews
- Strong technical development experience on best practices code refactoring
- Hands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools within the work environment
- Hands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools for coding
- Hands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools for test creation
- Hands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools for troubleshooting
- Hands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools for documentation
- Demonstrated ability to critically evaluate AI-generated outputs for correctness
- Demonstrated ability to validate AI-generated outputs for performance
- Demonstrated ability to validate AI-generated outputs for security
- Demonstrated ability to refine AI-generated outputs
- Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows
- Understanding of data sensitivity considerations in AI workflows
- Understanding of secure handling of inputs/outputs in AI workflows
- Understanding of adherence to resiliency and security expectations in AI workflows
- Ability to guide peers on safe and effective usage of AI within team practices
- Experience with various source control tools like GIT
- Good understanding of Jenkins CI/CD
- Good understanding of Maven/Gradle
