Seasoned Software Engineer III on JPMorganChase Fusion technology team responsible for designing and delivering secure, scalable Java-based solutions across cloud-native stacks; develops production-grade code, architectures complex applications, analyzes large data sets for insights, improves coding hygiene and system architecture, participates in communities of practice, and fosters a culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect.
Required Qualifications
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts
- 3+ years of applied experience
- At least 5 years of relevant experience building distributed software solutions at scale using Java, AWS, EKS, Kubernetes, Relational Database
- Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
- Proficient in coding in one or more languages
- Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages
- Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
- Demonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)
