Job Summary
Software Engineer III responsible for designing and delivering trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, scalable way within JPMorgan Chase's Market Risk Technology. Collaborates with business partners, quantitative researchers, and technology teams; executes software solutions and architectures; works in an Agile environment; analyzes data to identify hidden patterns to improve coding hygiene and system architecture; produces architecture and design artifacts; contributes to communities of practice; fosters diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect. Preferred experience in Banking/Finance/Risk domains, RAG pipelines, AWS and Docker.
Required Qualifications
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts
- Professional development experience with Python
- Familiarity with Generative AI, specifically LLM Orchestration and Agentic AI libraries
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, automated testing, and operational stability
- Experience communicating to business facing customers and technical team
